How does Carbon's services differ from an OB/GYN?

Carbon Health's Women's Health Program is a Primary Care program that expands our scope of gynecological services. Primary care providers at Carbon Health guide patients on evidence-based care plans designed specifically for women that include breast health, reproductive health, infectious issues, and behavioral health.

What if I already have an OB/GYN? Will Carbon Health's PCP work with my specialist doctor?

We can work in conjunction with your OB/GYN to help with your chronic conditions or we can assist with your routine gynecological screenings/care (pap, OCP management). If treatment is out of our scope of practice, we can refer you back to your OB/GYN or appropriate specialist to continue your care with them.

Which Providers Specialize in Women's Health

All the providers in the Women’s Health program are highly trained in the best and most up to date evidenced based practices.

Can I get fertility care?

No. At this time, fertility care is not a part of the Carbon’s Women’s Health program. We can test your hormone levels, preconception planning, and rule out other chronic conditions that can prevent pregnancy. In addition, we can refer you to a specialist to further assist.
